China is now the largest automobile consuming market and the largest automobile production country in the world. Last year, China had recorded an annual sale of 18.06 million vehicles. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), from Q1-Q3 of 2011, the total export and import of automotive related products reached US1,035.98 billion. In 12th Five-Year Plan, China plans to invest RMB4 trillion (US630 billion) to support the development of 9 industries, including the alternative energy vehicles and environmental friendly new materials. By 2012, China's automobile production is expected to exceed 20 million units. The market potential, both OE business and aftermarket, is lucrative!
