The upcoming International Exhibition of Textile
Machinery (ITMA) will be held from June 20 to 26, 2019 at Fira De Barcelona,
Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain. Exhibits related to weaving, spinning, winding & testing, nonwovens & braiding, research & innovation & services will be shown in Hall 4, 5 and Under Linkway.
Hall 4:
Weaving
BMSvision
Booth: H4 B204
The focuses of BMSvision at ITMA 2019 will be
Industry 4.0, mobile MES solution and smart textile manufacturing.
Through intelligent wireless networking of all
production equipment in the mill, the BMSvision MES solution transfers the huge
amount of data originating from the various production machines and processes
into meaningful information for the managers.
As introduced, the BMSvision MES suite for the
textile industry includes software modules for real time monitoring, reporting,
scheduling, preventive maintenance, fabric inspection and traceability. The
complete suite is now available for both Oracle and SQL Server as database
engine.
The Management dashboard allows the combined
presentation of data from different software modules into one single web based
reportshowing important KPI’s at a glance. As such, the manager can have all
information related to efficiencies, quality and energy consumption displayed
in real time in one single screen, either on PC, tablet or mobile phone.
Several new BMSvision products will also be
introduced to visitors at the show. The Smart Bracelet is a low cost wearable
device promptly informs operators when there is a need to intervene on a
machine. As soon as the “Events & Alerts” software of the MES system detects
a warning or alarm condition on a certain machine, the operator in charge of
the machine is informed as his bracelet starts vibrating and the machine number
and type of alarm is displayed on the bracelet’s screen.
Meanwhile, with its new product Argus, BMSvision
pushes the boundaries of automatic on-loom inspection. For the first time ever,
a system capable of inspecting unicolor Jacquard fabrics is now available for
weavers of top quality products, such as OPW airbags, mattress ticking, etc.
CREALET
Booth: H4 A110
The two independent companies Rüti Textil GmbH and
CREALET AG seize the opportunity of a joint trade fair participation. Both are
experts in the weaving process with the use of the latest technology in the
field of industry 4.0.
Crealet AG is specialized in customized warp feed
systems and Rüti Textil GmbH is expert in development tasks of the weft
insertion. The former has recently introducedits new corporate design, with a
refreshed logo.
CREALET develops drives and controls that allow a
fast and precise positioning and synchronized movements that support highest
system dynamics in an intelligent system network.
The new LT controller is a control unit for warp
tension control. It is suitable for various areas of application where the
measurement and control of the warp tension is required. Typical areas of
application are the control of small warp beams in ribbon weaving or selvedge
bobbins on wide weaving machines. It is also used for warp feeding by feed
roller when weaving from creel.
The LT control unit was designed for continuous
operation in the textile industry, with features for a quick setting. It
consists of a display which shows measured warp tension, active
functions/settings and display settings in the menu.
A rapidly advancing industrial digitization and
trends like smart factory and the Internet-of-Things are challenges and
prospects CREALET will handle together with qualified partners. A first step in
this direction has already been realized with a customer project in the area of
safety-relevant narrow fabrics.
Picanol
Booth: H4 B101
In an ever-changing world, the needs of the
weaving mills as well as the expectations of the operators are evolving
rapidly. The increasing awareness regarding environmental topics, increasing
costs and the availability of resources and skills, as well as the digital
revolution, will push the company in new
directions.
For this reason, Picanol products are
designed with a focus on four principles: smart performance,
sustainability inside, driven by data and intuitive control.
As a proof of the company’s commitment to these
four principles, Picanol will present its latest developments in rapier and air
jet technology.
The fair will see the world
premiere of a brand new airjet machine, the OmniPlus-i, which represents a new
benchmark in airjet weaving. This further builds on the solid base of nearly 40
years of experience in airjet weaving, during which over 100,000 airjet
machines have so far been shipped.
OmniPlus-i is featuring a redesigned reed
motion, optimized relay nozzle set up and can be combined with SmartShed, the
full electronic controlled shedding motion.
In total, Picanol will have 12 machines on
display. In addition to 5 new airjet weaving machines, Picanol will also
present 5 rapier weaving machines with many new developments. Furthermore, a
rapier machine in Jacquard execution will be on display at the Bonas booth and
a terry airjet at the Stäubli booth.
Hall 5 and
Under Linkway (UL): Weaving; Spinning, Winding & Testing; Nonwovens &
braiding; Research & Innovations & Services
LAROCHE
Booth: H5 C106
At the show, LAROCHE, one of the world leaders in
fiber processing equipment, will display a wide range of machines, including
the Airlay type Flexiloft 2600 with improved web uniformity and weight range.
From 2.4 up to 4.0 m, the LAROCHE Airlay can run
all types of fibers such as synthetics, natural, recycled, etc., and blends of
fibers and solid particles like foam chips, plastics, wood chips.
This allows the making of products from renewable
resources and from wastes that are otherwise discarded. Thermobonding or needle
punching trials can be run in the technical center with a SCHOTT and MEISSNER
oven or with an ANDRITZ needle loom.
Other machines to be displayed include: Tearing
machine type Jumbo 2000 for high capacity recycling of all types of textile
wastes including post-consumer clothing and carpet wastes; new generation of
ultra-high-speed Edge trim opener type Nextrim 500 for on line or off line
recycling of light weight nonwoven edge trims.
SDL Atlas
Booth: UL C206
During the show, SDL Atlas will display a variety
of newly redesigned instruments, Vortex M6, Martindale, Autoburst and
Launder-Ometer, along with their new line of test materials and RemoteAccess, a
revolutionary remote instrument monitoring app for tracking real-time testing
progress of instruments anytime, anywhere, on the go.
Sales staff and technical experts will be at the
company booth to answer questions and conduct demonstrations of a variety of
SDL Atlas testing technology throughout the show.
With offices and experts in the United States,
United Kingdom, China and Hong Kong SAR, plus agents serving over 100
countries, SDL Atlas is committed to providing customers confidence in standard
based testing.
